Terms and Conditions

1. GOODS

Asonda sells Custom Built PCs, Pre-Set PCs and PC Related Items (Components and Peripherals)

Custom Built PCs

All of our machines/systems are built to order within 5-24 working days of placing the order, depending on options and providing all the required components are available to us. If a component is unavailable we will advise you of the alternative replacements of the same or higher specification. We may grant free upgrades in certain situations.

After the systems are built they are tested for a minimum of 24 hours for quality assurance. After which they are then despatched with the delivery method selected at checkout.

Cancellation of a PC is not an option once it has started the over all process (Supplier ordering). This is due to the nature of the items. Expensive and Custom Ordered for you needs. This applies to ALL the PCs available on this website.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure the goods are tested initially within 48 hours after arrival. In the event they are found to be faulty, the fault must be reported immediately via e-mail with your contact details and order number.

We do NOT promise that our PCs will be compatible with any other equipment that is not purchased from us. This includes any peripherals or internal components.

Components

We do the best we can to keep our catalogue of products in the best accurate state; we cannot accept any responsibility for errors or omissions. The pictures are for illustration purposes only and may not correspond to the actual product.

The buyer must ensure the goods purchased are compatible with his/her needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are in any doubt.

If an item is not in stock, the buyer is advised via e-mail of alternatives. This would include cancellation of the order with an immediate refund.

2. OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE

By placing an order online or otherwise the buyer is making an offer that can be refused by Asonda when the order is processed.

The management reserves the right to refuse any offer without any explanation. We aren’t under obligation to sell if there was an error in description, price, model and any other variables. If this is the case, we would be refunding the money paid to us (If any was paid).

3. PRICE

All the prices shown do not incur any VAT at this moment in time but they are subject to change without notice at any time.

Even thought we keep our catalog up to date and as accurate as possible, it may be possible to find errors or omissions in which case the buyer will be contacted and advised if anything was incorrect, the customer would then be notified of any possible alternatives.

4. DELIVERY

We do not currently ship world wide.

Components

Currently we have a few delivery options for component's orders that are shown when you add the product to the shopping basket and are calculated based on weight and product itself.

Usually we deliver Monday to Friday with City Link overnight carriers. For Saturday Delivery the Saturday delivery method should be selected.


We can organise same day couriers in the Cornwall area, please contact us for availability of such service.

Custom Built Systems

all computers are built to order (5-20 business days) unless otherwise specified. Currently we have two delivery options for PCs:

a) Our Own Dedicated Delivery Driver (Recommended for our high end PC that may contain a heavy heat-sink and/or liquid-cooling system.) This way of delivery excludes the risk of getting a Dead on Arrival PC as it is just one single person that handles your PC. The price for this service starts as low as £69.99 and normally is £1/mile one way and applies to UK mainland locations only.

b) Overnight Insured Delivery with City-Link The price is calculated on checkout and is based on weight and starts from as low as £14.99. Deliveries are done between 08:00 and 18:00 and the goods are insured for the full amount.

If for any reason the couriers haven’t been able to deliver the item(s) to you, they will attempt to re-deliver the next say at no charge but any further attempt will be charged at £5.50 to your account.

The goods are normally held at the local depot for 5 working days before they are returned to us. There is a £20 administration fee if this occurs, plus the amount for re-sending after we have been in touch with your self.

We urge you to check the products as they arrive. The likely hood is that you are receiving only a few items, therefore please check to make sure no obvious damage has occurred.

We’d then like you to follow this: ||Please make sure that the goods are signed for as UNCHECKED (this means writing the word UNCHECKED below the signature)||

This will ensure that any damage that has accidently happened in transit, we will be able to claim compensation.

Failure to do so will result in any return as a result of D.I.T (Damage in Transit) taking considerably longer to be processed and in some cases dismissed. Sign UNCHECKED after checking the contents.

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Custom Built systems

We do not accept any returns for custom built systems

A custom built system is any PC on this website due to them either being specified for yourself or the parts ordered specially from the supplier when a build takes place.

We are very confident that our systems will meet and most definitely exceed the buyer’s expectations as we build the PCs to an impeccable standard then put them through a rigorous testing procedure.

If however you do not like an aspect of the system you receive, then let us know and we will advise on a replacement part such as Graphics, Sound, CPU, Motherboard, Ram, Case and advise to any increase or decrease to the original cost.

Knowing we personally custom build every PC that leaves the shop, it is assumed that the buyer knows that the product is being made especially for them.

Components

For a return please e-mail us at contact @ support with the subject heading, Returns (Your Order Number) then write in the e-mail what you’d like to ask us about.

If you are buying for personal use as a private individual you may cancel your order at any time within 7 days of receiving the goods and we will refund the product prices paid.

Delivery costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for the arrangement of sending back goods.

We will only accept returns in this instance for components and peripherals that must be unopened, unused and in the same condition we send them out.

If a product had been opened and sent back to us, and we find it is working, then the return will be subject to a 25% restocking fee of the overall purchase price of the said item.

All our PCs are custom items. Therefore cannot be returned.

When the refunds are made, allow for up to 7 days for it to appear on the card, or PayPal account that has been used for payment.

8. WARRANTY

Components

The Warranty does not cover incompatibility/physical damage/incorrect installation/ overclocking/modification of the product(s) by the customer. We are professionals and know when these types of situations occur.

Removal of warranty labels will immediately void the warranty.

We can not accept any returns unless an RMA number has been issued by the manufacturer. Some of the products are sold with the manufacturer's warranty that ensures a quicker return process including advanced replacements. Monitors and Hard Drives are sold with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Systems/PCs (Custom built PCs)

All of our systems are sold with a 1 year RTB (Return to base) Warranty.

The warranty we give does NOT include software or operating system problems as well as any additionally installed components of peripherals by the customer.

We will however endeavour to help you out should your claim not be covered under warranty by e-mail, phone or remote assistance. This will be done at our discretion and when we see fit.

Please be aware that a BIOS related problem IS a software issue, so is not covered.

If you believe your system has a hardware fault then we will arrange pick up of the system and diagnose at our workshop, if the hardware is faulty, a repair will be made and the item sent back to you. However if it turns out the problem was software related, we will charge the cost of the pick up and re-delivery charges.

We request that our customers have some technical knowledge or are willing to fully cooperate with basic troubleshooting tasks as instructed by us to try and help determine what could be causing the peculiar behaviour.

The Warranty does not cover incompatibility/physical damage/incorrect installation/ overclocking/modification of the product(s) by the customer. We are professionals and know when these types of situations occur.

The buyer can upgrade the PC but our warranty does not cover 3rd party installations of any components.

The system will not be covered under warranty if any upgrade, addition or overclocking has caused the damage to the system directly or indirectly.

It is imperative that you save the packaging for your system as you will need it in order to successfully send it back.

 

9. PRIVACY POLICY

Sensitive Data

We are committed to making sure your privacy is retained as required by the Data Protection Act.

We will never send out unsolicited/spam e-mails. Up on signing up for an account, you accept that from time to time we may send you the occasional offer or newsletter.

We never sell, exchange, trade or transmit and sensitive information to any third parties, except for the purpose of payment processing and delivering the goods.

We send e-mails about any order updates to the e-mail given at the checkout/registration stage.

Cookies

To enable Asonda.co.uk to operate efficiently and effectively we send a cookie to each visitors computer.

This is done to improve the services that we offer and to provide statistical information about hits and visits to our website (in numbers).

No personal/identifiable information is sent or received by using our cookies.

Links

Asonda.co.uk contains links to other websites. From the moment you click the link it is not our responsibility.

We would like to ask you to review their privacy information as it may not be as safe as ours.

Communication

We reserve the right to publish any communication between us and the customer (Such as testimonials) in order to improve and assist our reputation, services and communication all whist preserving/not showing customer details or identities.

10. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Any order outside of the UK is classed as an International Order.

We currently do NOT ship internationally but plan to do so in the future.

11. ORDER CANCELATIONS

Components

Any component order can be cancelled at anytime before dispatch as long as it is not a special order. Once the order status is under processing, a special order cannot be cancelled nor returned nor refunded.

Custom PCs

Any computer system that is ordered from us can be cancelled before the order enters the processing stage. This will happen the same day, unless the order is placed after 4pm where by it may happen the next working day.

During the first 24 hours of the order being in the processing stage, there is a 10% cancelation charge. Following that the cancellation charge is 20% of the total amount of the complete cost of the order.

If we see fit, any person who portrays abusive, inhospitable, rudeness, and/or inappropriate comments towards a member of staff it will most likely result in a cancellation being initiated at a cost of 20% of the total amount of the complete cost of the order.

12. TRADING REGULATIONS

We strictly adhere to current legislation and are trading under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended by the Sale and Supply of Goods Act), Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations and Data Protection Act 1994 (as amended).

If you are buying for personal use as a private individual you may cancel your order at any time within 7 days of receiving the goods and we will refund the product prices paid, providing it is not a custom order (Any System/PC) or special order item.

We will only accept returns in this instance for components and peripherals that must be unopened, unused and in the same condition we send them out and it is the customer responsibility for returning cancelled goods. Delivery costs are non-refundable.


These terms and conditions do not affect your personal statutory rights and may be amended/changed without notice.
